Guidelines for Designers

Guidelines For Designers

The team at Habitat Moncton want to thank you for your interest in our Chairs for Charity fundraiser. In this section we will provide a brief overview of the details that we would like all our participants to be mindful of throughout the project.

  • Objective:

    • Chairs
      • To refinish a vintage chair that will be sold during a live auction with proceeds going to Habitat Moncton’s housing program.
      • Habitat Moncton will provide chair designers with one vintage chair from our inventory. Designers may use an existing chair already in their possession, however please provide us with an image prior to starting your project.
    • ReStore Inspired DIY Project
      • Create a decorative or functional item using a minimum of 1 element from the ReStore that will be sold in a silent auction throughout the evening. All the proceeds will be going to Habitat Moncton’s housing program.
      • DIY creators must select a minimum of one items from the ReStore to incorporate into their proposed DIY project. We would also like to ask designers to submit a project proposal upon choosing their item(s).
