Kim has been a resident of Sackville since 2001. She started her working career as a director of a daycare in Winnipeg. Taking some of the centre’s children to meet David Suzuki at a book signing was just another day on the job. Fun, fulfilling and meaningful are words she uses to describe that time in her life. She is still in contact with children she cared for 36 years ago. As a mother of two fantastic children (she makes no apologies), Kim believes that strong communities are made up of actively engaged citizens. An avid photographer and crafts person, Kim has been has been a maker since childhood.
She is thrilled to be a part of this important fundraiser and is enthusiastically working on her chair.
*She has a new found appreciation for the difficulty of taking selfies.
